The Belle Isle is a beautiful green park, about 3 miles around with a great conservatory, lots of picnic areas, fishing, golf course, a water slide and even a beach. You can view the Detroit skyline and watch jet skiers and boats go by from under a shady tree or watch the barges pass on the side that faces Windsor.
The Henry Ford is located in Dearborn, Michigan, just outside of Detroit. With over 1.6 million visitors annually, the complex is the largest indoor/outdoor museum in the United States.
Renaissance Center is a group of seven interconnected skyscrapers in Downtown Detroit. The complex is owned by General Motors as its world headquarters. The central tower, the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center, is the tallest all-hotel skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere.
